Because Passionate People Produce Incredible Results!

The U.S. economy loses over $300 billion annually due to unmotivated workers. How much of that $300 billion comes from your company? This website and my second book, “The Road to a Passionate Workforce: How to harness the power of your people,” are focused on reducing that statistic.

American businesses have done a great job in getting lean, streamlining processes and implementing amazing technology. Yet, we continually struggle with the human element of our workforce. You can be the leanest, most streamlined, and most technologically advanced, but if your people don’t care about what they are doing and who they’re doing it for, your system will break down.

 

When someone is not motivated, two things happen:

  • The employee quits and goes elsewhere (this is bad)
  • The employee quits, doesn't tell anyone, and still comes to work everyday (this is worse)
  • The domino effect negatively spreads well beyond this individual

My work experiences teamed with the stories and advice from the people I've interviewed have shown me that no one wants to be a disengaged worker. We are all born with the drive to excel and succeed.

A workforce of people with passion and motivation:

  • Increases productivity
  • Improves quality of work
  • Increases return on investment per employee
  • Decreases turnover
  • Increases loyalty and word of mouth
  • Brings in better potential employees
  • Increases your company's bottom line!!!

My goal is to share my interview experiences and help companies tap into their most valued asset and competitive edge: their people. The Road has produced a motivation equation:

 

Passionate Employees = Passionate Customers = Increased Profits

 

This is a win win situation for all involved. If employees are passionate, that means they like what they are doing and feel taken care of. If customers are passionate, that means they like working with (and spending money with) your company. Focus on these two factors and the profits will follow.
